It is no revelation to say that value-added tax administration has become much stricter since 2015. Indeed, tax authorities often refuse to refund taxes from the budget under far-fetched pretexts.
A regular client of ours entrusted us with a similar task. Interdistrict Inspection of the Federal Tax Service No. 15 for Altai Krai refused to reimburse him for more than 900,000 rubles VAT. The client had doubts about whether to argue with the tax authorities or give up on them. We, however, managed to convince him that it was worth it, and we would be able to prove the non-substantiation of the tax authorities’ claims.
After we filed an objection regarding the cameral audit act, the tax authority organized additional tax inspections.
Upon their execution, a decision was made to accept our objections regarding the act reasonable and to reimburse the VAT in full.
