The seventh Law Forum of Siberia took part in Novosibirsk. The Forum’s major topic was Civil Law Reform: 20-Year Experience and New Perspectives.
The Novosibirsk forum had been organized for several years and became a key event for the top legal companies in Russia. Experts from the Siberian region and the European part of Russia have attended the Forum, including the representatives of most notable legal companies of the Russian market.
This year, amongst the esteemed guests of the forum were famous experts – Dmitry Dozhdev, Doctor of Sciences in Law, Professor, one of the authors of the recent amendments of the Civil Code of Russia related to corporeal rights, and Yevgeny Suvorov, Candidate of Sciences (Ph.D.) in Law, Master in Private Law, Leading Advisor of the Chief Test and Analysis Department of the Supreme Arbitration Court of the Russian Federation.
The forum sessions were mainly devoted to recent amendments of the civil law, abuse of rights in books and practice, burning issues related to freedom of contract, comprehensive management of a law firm. The participants discussed effective legal business management and marketing tools, shared their experience on new practices and attraction of new clients.
