The seminar has been delivered by Konstantin Zinovyev, a practising consultant and a civil law professor of Siberian Consumers’ Co-operation Institute, who synthesized the Civil Law amendments.
The seminar has drawn attention to global changes in Part One of the Civil Code of the Russian Federation that entered into legal effect on June 1, 2015.
Significant amendments of the RF Civil Code introduce revised principles, more freedom of expression for parties, increase the liability of parties, allocation of risks, and include legal rules aimed at unification of the Russian legislation with international standards, breaching gaps of standards of the current RF Civil Code.
